Roundus has been navigating through unchartered territory for some time. They learn something new every day, and they are constantly looking forward to their next challenge. Big projects don’t intimidate them, and doing something unexpected is a part of their everyday process.
In 2005, Christopher Kingsley, Founder and Director, created what was then known as Roundus. Zachary Abresch joined the mix in 2006 as co-creator. For two months the duo worked out of an apartment operating with 50 main locations around the city to create the first version of Roundus.com.
Today, Roundus has evolved to become Roundscapes and is steered by 15 staff members. Roundus.com is now just one of the many different products of Roundscapes. The organization is present in over 115 cities in 20 different countries.
Roundscapes, located in the Parrish Studios Downtown, is an integrated interactive agency focusing on production, post-production, and development. This means they handle photography, videography, web design, and motion graphics. Using high-resolution photography, HD videography, and custom engineering, Roundscapes creates highly realistic interactive online experiences.
“Our specialty is making the real world digital and the digital world more real,” said Kingsley.
Roundscapes is constantly tackling obstacles including creating innovative ways to present marketing, making it more interactive. In addition to its original concept of interactive tours, Roundscapes now produces commercial websites, TV and internet commercials, short/long form video content, interactive video, microsites, and IT support.
“We love the challenge of figuring out what comes next and how we can do it,” said Kingsley.
