Firespring’s Ben Spence Wins Ad Pro of the Year

The American Advertising Federation Lincoln announced the winners of their annual Ad Pro and Ad Rookie awards at their February 17th monthly club luncheon. Ad Pro honors went to Ben Spence, Creative Director at Firespring.

Ben has worked in advertising and marketing communications for more than ten years in the Lincoln area. In his current role as creative director, Ben leads a talented roster of art directors, writers and web developers through the strategic planning and execution of all creative projects. As an active member of AAF Lincoln, Ben and his staff at Firespring were instrumental in the rebrand of the club this year. He also served on the 2008-2009 Board of Directors where he earned a first place for Government Relations in the AAF National Club Achievement Awards.

Ben is a past AAF Lincoln Board Member where he served as the 2008-09 Legislative Chair. He continues to be a great AAF Lincoln Club Member by serving on the ADDY committee and volunteered his time and work by Firespring to help our club rebrand from AFL to AAF Lincoln this year.

As one nominator wrote, “I don’t know of any agency that could have pulled off a rebrand for a client in the time and demands given.” AAF Lincoln is grateful for Firespring and Ben!
