Downtown’s newest restaurant, Capital City Grill, has opened in the Haymarket on 301 N. 8th Street.  Capital City Grill owner, Randy Jones, is excited to be located in a unique area and serve in the Sullivan building, one of Haymarket’s oldest buildings.  Capital City Grill officially opened on October 13th and will offer traditional recipes with a contemporary style.

Chef-Owner, Aaron Smeall, offers a menu with a global taste that includes French and Asian influences.  Capital City Grill also offers steaks and their specialty is stuffed prime rib.  Both Jones and Smeall take pride in what they offer to the public and have the experience to back it up.  Jones has been in the retail business for 40 years and he believes in conducting a business which is customer focused.  Smeall has been in the restaurant business for 20 years and has designed Capital City Grill’s menu to flavorfully fit the market.  In the end, Jones and Smeall hope people come to Capital City Grill to be casually entertained, while having a comfortably relaxing dinner.

“We’d like to invite everyone in the Lincoln area to come out and give us a try.  We’re hoping for customers to become patrons and do everything possible to help us grow our business,” said Jones.
