What woman doesn’t love to shop, and better yet, buy name brand items at reduced prices? Faded Lux, a high-end consignment sale is the perfect opportunity to find new pieces to add a little excitement to your wardrobe and more room in your closet. Located between Noodles & Co. and Lincoln’s Children Museum on 14th and P street the sale will take place September 23rd – 25th.
Faded Lux is celebrating its fourth event for women. With a sale in the spring and one in the fall, area women have two opportunities to revamp their closets. Not only does the sale allow women to do some more shopping, but consignors have the option to donate any items not purchased to the YWCA’s Job Outfitters program. The program allows area women in need an opportunity to find clothes suitable for their work environment at no cost.
The sale not only includes clothing but also accessories such as shoes, jewelry, scarves and purses. While many of the items come from individuals, local boutiques also take advantage of the opportunity to purge merchandise. This means lots of variety in price and items for those looking to shop. They have thought of everything and even have fitting rooms for shoppers to try on what they are interested in before purchasing.
To become involved in future sales by becoming a consignor or volunteer, visit Faded Lux’s website. Individuals who consign or volunteer have the opportunity to shop early before the sale is open to the general public. Note that many items are marked down to an extra 25% off during Saturday’s portion of the sale.
