Footloose & Fancy To Host a 35th Anniversary Sale Event

35 Years ago on March 15, Downtown Lincoln saw their first pair of Birkenstock sandals hit the street. Since then, thousands of Lincolnites have sported the shoe, thanks to the commitment of Footloose & Fancy. 

On March 1st 2002 Long-time owner Marla McCabe sold the successful Birkenstock shop at 1219 P Street to seven year employee, Jane Stricker, and her husband Matt.  At the time, the location was Nebraska’s only specialized Birkenstock store.  The former National Shoe Retailers Association award winners have since opened a second store at 70th & Pioneers and continue to build off of the store’s 35 year history of success.

In honor of Footloose and Fancy’s 35 year history, the store is holding a week long sale from March 12th through March 20th.  The sales include:
- Buy one pair of shoes and get 10% off
- Buy two pairs of shoes and get 20% off
- Buy three pairs of shoes or more and get 30% off

During the sale, visitors to Footloose & Fancy can also register their name in a drawing to win a free pair of Birkenstocks.
