The TADA Theatre begins the new year with the premiere of an original musical titled Almost Liza. Compiled by the group that brought you Forbidden Broadway Midwest.

Set in a night club, the script is a tribute to one of the stage and screens most popular performers. With her flamboyant (and most recent) ex-husband seated at the keys of the piano, songs come fast and furious, as does the comic banter towards each other and to the crowd gathered for a night with the legendary songstress. The production not only showcases musical numbers made famous by the Broadway sensation but also drops in a few unexpected zingers such as A Hole In The Bucket (Dear Liza) and a humorous duet of Islands In The Stream.

As the production proceeds, tales are shared with the audience about her legendary career including her rather unique marriages, to her recent bout with an illness that almost left the icon permanently in a wheelchair. Through song intertwined with comic tid-bits this original one-of-a-kind production engages the audience on a special journey with a very special lady!
