Kim Dingle to Speak at the Sheldon

Beginning a lecture series of artists whose works are included in Shrew’d: The Smart & Sassy Survey of American Women Artists, Kim Dingle speaks in Ethel S. Abbott Auditorium, Tuesday, March 2, at 5:30 p.m. For more than two decades, Dingle has explored the subversive edges of female childhood and myths of nationhood and history in lush paintings and surprising sculptures. Dingle’s work has been featured in the Smithsonian National Museum of American Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Martha Rosler, Monday, April 19, 5:30 p.m.

he lectures and exhibition are free and open to the public.
