Make Green By Going Green Business Luncheon

Think Green Consulting and Mayor Beutler’s Cleaner Greener Lincoln initiative* are cosponsoring a luncheon as a part of the Lincoln Earth Day week of celebrations on Wednesday, April 21st from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Embassy Suites for local businesses and individuals to network and discover the opportunities and resources available to “Make Green by Going Green.” This includes eco-friendly and energy savings products, available stimulus funds, low interest loans from the Nebraska Energy Office, and the developing Lincoln Green Map. This is a great occasion to hear firsthand from local businesses that have been active in building a sustainable community, to learn about the products and services available to help you “Make Green” and to discover the value investors and consumers place on businesses that adopt eco-friendly practices.

- Hear Kohls Department Stores describe the motivation to build a LEED Certified retail store in Lincoln and the impact it has had on its consumers and larger community

The cost is $15/person and includes presentation and lunch. Booth rental is $50.
