Panera Bread Welcomes Summer Back

Panera Bread is welcoming back summer with new menu items on Wednesday, May 26th kicking off their four month long celebration.  The menu will feature items such as the Strawberry Poppyseed and Chicken Salad, Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Salad and a refreshing Frozen Strawberry Lemonade.  “We are welcoming back summer to our customers,” said General Manager Aylin Karmazin.

Panera Bread prides itself on bringing their customers fresh ingredients, which makes a rotating menu essential.  To have fresh produce it is vital for Panera Bread to utilize seasonal ingredients such as fresh strawberries.

Throughout the year, Panera Bread recognizes five different celebrations with each celebration representing a different time of the year.  For each of these celebrations, the traditional Panera Bread menu is adjusted to feature menu items with the freshest seasonal ingredients. 

Not only is Panera Bread welcoming summer, they are also doing their part for the Lincoln community.  One of Panera Bread’s philanthropic ventures includes the donation of their extra baked goods at the end of each day to benefit local organizations.  “We want to give back to the downtown community,” said Karmazin.
