Ribfest is Back

Ribfest has been a Lincoln favorite for over 13 years.  The award winning BBQ paired with live music makes for a memorable atmosphere.  Coming this Thursday, August 12th the area surrounding Pershing Center will be transformed.

Four days of great BBQ and music will take up residence on Downtown streets.  On August 12th through the 15th patrons can visit Ribfest and sample from seven rib vendors including everything from ice cream, spiral spuds and roasted corn.

On average more than 30,000 people attend Ribfest.  On Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be free admission.  Suggested admission for this time is a can of food, which will be donated to The Food Bank of Lincoln.

Music is another great feature of Ribfest.  With a variety of musical acts, a little bit of everything will be covered including folk, bluegrass, country, rock, classic rock and Christian.
