Storytellers Coffeehouse is now open downtown, adding another unique feature to the Grand Manse on 129 N. 10th Street.  Owner, Shawni Vincent-Cook, is excited to have Storytellers located downtown and feels that it brings “a different lifestyle”.  Storytellers offers a great selection of coffee and is currently expanding its tea selections.  Storytellers also caters and gives customers the opportunity to reserve the coffeehouse for certain events or parties.

Vincent-Cook feels it’s important to know that Storytellers is more than just a coffee shop.  Once a month they will be offering different creative ways to get the community involved with coffee.  A example of this would be Vincent-Cook’s idea to have a class on brewing the best homemade espresso shot.  Another way Vincent-Cook has connected with the community is including Storytellers in First Friday Artwalk scene.  This month (October) marked Storytellers first First Friday, where local artist, Kate Marx, had her art on display.  Vincent-Cook is excited to have the talent of Marx on display and wants to keep the partnership going for future First Fridays.

In the end, Vincent-Cook is thrilled to be located in the in the heart of Lincoln and having the opportunity to get involved with the community through Storytellers.  “We’re really looking forward to being a part of downtown Lincoln and excited about the growth of a lot of local businesses which we support,” stated Vincent-Cook.

Storytellers Coffeehouse is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday thru Saturday.  If you would like to contact Storytellers email (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
