Downtown has been Trade-A-Tape/Comic Center’s home for 35 years.  The store, which once sold used music, has evolved into one of Lincoln’s favorite comic book shops.

The store has called two different locations home in the area and currently calls 145 S 9th Street home.  “The Downtown area is active and safe, it is good to be Downtown,” said Owner Larry Lorenz.

With such a rich history Trade-A-Tape/ Comic Center is now serving a whole new generation of comic enthusiasts.  The store not only sells comics but also buys comics from the silver and golden age, which are from the 1970’s and earlier.

Trade-A-Tape/ Comic Center will celebrate its 35th Anniversary and host its annual sale October 4-10.  The store’s hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
