Video: West Haymarket Arena Groundbreaking Ceremony

On September 7th, 2011, representatives of the City of Lincoln, State of Nebraska and UNL officially dug the first shovel of dirt for the West Haymarket project. Last May, Lincoln citizens voted in favor of a bond initiative to allow the construction of the arena and West Haymarket development. The arena construction is said to be on time and looks for a Fall 2013 opening date. Click below to watch a short video of the groundbreaking ceremony:
