I would like to post a flyer in the downtown kiosks, who do I call?

There are five kiosks in the downtown area. The kiosks are limited to events held within our BID (Business Improvement District) boundaries, which are roughly 7th to 17th Street, J to R. Drop off your posters at our office at 206 S. 13th St., Suite 101. Materials are posted in date order due to space restrictions. If you’re not sure if your event is located within our boundaries, give us a call at (402) 434-6900. 

What are Downtown Gift Checks and where can they be purchased?

Downtown Gift Checks are available in any denomination and are redeemable at any Downtown or Haymarket business. They can be purchased at the DLA. Please note: we are only able to accept check or cash at this time. For more information call the DLA at (402) 434-6900 or visit us in the Sharp Building at 206 S. 13th St., Suite 101.

I’m looking for an apartment downtown. Where do I start?

Where can I find a map of downtown or a listing of downtown businesses or destinations?

At our Parking & Maps section, you may download a map of downtown Lincoln. Our Visitor’s Guide, which includes a map of downtown and our business directory, is also available at our office in the Sharp Building at 206 S. 13th St., Suite 101; local hotels and other downtown businesses. You may also search our online Business Directory. If your business would like to display or distribute our Visitor’s Guide or Parking Brochure, we will deliver them to you free of charge. Is there any place to shop in downtown?

What events are taking place in downtown Lincoln?

Downtown has a full calendar of events including Celebrate Lincoln, Chocolate Lovers’ Fantasy, Ribfest and the Star City Holiday Parade. Where can I park downtown?

We often hear “there’s no parking in downtown Lincoln!” In reality, downtown Lincoln has 22,606 parking spaces. There are 3,906 on-street parking spaces. Worried about getting a ticket? Park in the garage! Visit the new downtown Lincoln parking site at www.parkitdowntown.org for more information on parking including locations and rates of downtown garages.
