The name “Lazzari” comes from the endearing referral to the Italian definition of the street urchin. These impoverished vagabonds were the actual inventors of pizza as we know it today. Though poor and homeless, they ate as kings, feasting on pizza and calzones. Free spirited Lazzari such as Bob Dobilina brought their unique meal to the New World where it is shared and enjoyed by all.
