What You’ll Do!
Our Case Managers (known as “Professional Partner”) serve a vital role to support consumers in our Family & Youth Investment program.

This position provides wraparound services to individuals under the age of 26, who are diagnosable with a mental illness (Serious Emotional Disturbances or SED) and residing in Region V Systems’ geographical area (southeast Nebraska). Persons served are at risk of being placed outside of the home, school, or community and are at risk for involvement in the juvenile justice and/or child welfare systems, which may include committing a criminal offense or behavioral health problems at school or home. The population served is primarily school-aged youth but also includes those individuals who are transitioning from the youth system to the adult system and who are at risk of entering, or have already entered, the adult emergency system.
You will use your problem-solving skills to work with your program participants (15 caseload maximum!) to develop a unique and creative plan to build on the natural support systems in their lives. In other words – you will help set the stage for success.

What You’ll Have!
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field. We welcome recent college grads! Extensive experience (3 or more years) in related human services field may be substituted for degree.
• This experience will soar you to the top of our list: 2 years’ experience working with persons with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and/or 2 years’ experience in a behavioral health direct service position.
• Strong communication skills, effective facilitation of team meetings, authoring concise progress notes, and prioritizing multiple tasks are some of the skills you need.
• Ability to coordinate with external agencies that are also working with your program participants is crucial.
• Personal, reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory background investigation is required.

Responsibilities:
Leadership
• Motivate the team by communicating the Alumni Hall vision
• Communicate clear expectations and hold all employees accountable for achieving goals

• Give clear division of responsibilities to store staff
• Participate in productive monthly staff meetings
People Development
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high energy and high performance team that provides a superior
customer experience
• Coach team members in their job responsibilities to increase confidence and productivity
• Ensure that all team members adhere to all employment policies & a professional work environment
• Recognize performance issues and assist the Store Manager in the development of action plans

Visual Merchandising
• Supervise and direct all merchandise processing
• Achieve excellence in the execution of all visual merchandising directives
• Maintain high standards of a clean and neat sales floor, cash wrap, and fitting rooms
Performance
• Be able to open and close the store, handle deposits, and follow daily operations and expectations
• Strive to achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales goals
• Achieve store shrink goals through proper Inventory Management: Maintain operational standards to
secure the store’s assets
• Assist the Store Manager in achieving UPT, ADS, Email Capture, & Ecommerce Performance goals
• Assist the Store Manager in proper scheduling practices to achieve payroll budget goals
•Ensure that all Ecommerce orders are filled and processed per company standards quickly and
efficiently
• Develop a working knowledge of collegiate sports and local university activities
Communication
• Communicate with the store staff as well as the corporate office
• Assist the Store Manager with communicating merchandise needs to the buying staff
• Collaborate with the Store Manager & the marketing department to execute all marketing directives
• Stay current with competition by visiting frequently and sharing the information with the Store Manager
• Ensure that all required Ecommerce and Social Media content is communicated in a timely manner
Qualifications:
• Background Check required
• Employees are subject to random drug screenings
• Minimum high school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year retail management experience
• Ability to lead a team, delegate, and follow-up
• Ability to train, develop, & foster growth among employees
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a schedule based upon the business needs – including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Alumni Hall Stores / Keyholder

Part time position with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include:
• Ability to open and close the store and handle deposits
• Ability to lead, delegate, and follow-up on store associates
• Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the overall day-to-day
operations of the store, product placement, and achieving sales goals as well as UPT, ADS, and
Email Capture goals
• Assist in the training of the staff on company policies and procedures
• Count, receive, and tag store merchandise properly by utilizing vendor packing slips
• Ensure that all new merchandise is received and placed on the sales floor in a timely manner
• Assist in daily merchandise replenishments
• Maintain high standards of a clean and neat sales floor, cash wrap, fitting rooms, and an
organized stockroom
• Maintain a superior customer experience and provide excellent customer service to every
customer
• Communicate with the Store Manager & Assistant Manager on any customer
requests/concerns
• Partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to ensure protection of all
company assets
• Ensure that all E-commerce orders are filled and processed in a timely manner per company
standards (as needed)
• Develop a working knowledge of collegiate sports and local university activities
• Assist the management staff on creating social media content
• Must be able to work on home football games, nights, weekends, & Sunday's as needed.

Downtown Lincoln Association / Seasonal Groundskeeper

DESCRIPTION: Under immediate to general supervision, the seasonal groundskeeper performs routine grounds maintenance duties including watering, mowing, and trimming grass; seeding; planting trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals; fertilizing; applying pesticides; weeding flower beds; trimming trees and shrubs; may perform routine building and equipment maintenance and manual labor tasks. Incumbents work individually, as a member of a work crew, or while assisting supervisory staff or skilled maintenance technicians; perform related work as required.

EXAMPLES OF WORK: (The following is a list of possible duties this position may be assigned. Additional duties may be added to this list if the need arises.)

Mowing, string trimming, edging and aerating in turf areas.

Assist crew leader in applying fertilizer and/or herbicides to turf areas

Assist crew leader and/or irrigation technician in the installation and repair of irrigation systems

Remove dead plant material, weeds and other debris from sidewalks and planting beds

Apply mulch to planting beds

Assist in planting trees, shrubs, perennials and annual plants

Assist in tree and shrub pruning.

Loads, unloads and moves furniture, equipment, materials and supplies.

Operates machinery, equipment and tools in the performance of duties

Assist in maintaining all equipment, tools and machinery in working order.

Performs routine building maintenance to include, cleaning; and minor  painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs.

Prepares reports and keeps records of time worked, materials used and equipment maintenance.

Must drive assigned vehicles in a safe, courteous and legal fashion. All work will be done in an efficient manner to keep vehicle mileage to a minimum. The vehicle is not to be operated outside our boundaries without the Maintenance Director’s consent. The vehicle will be safety checked and fluids monitored daily.

Must follow all safety policies and requirements as outlined in the DLA Employee Safety Manual.

Other duties as assigned.

***Position is seasonal, April 14, 2024 - Oct. 12th, 2024. Some weekend availability may be required.***
