Martin Jewelry Sets Up Shop Inside Shannon Formalwear

Located inside of Shannon Formalwear on 16th and O St, Martin Jewelry has opened its doors, because what is better than suits and jewelry? It’s becoming the perfect one-stop-shop.

Married couple, Dylan and Kaylan Evans have opened their new branch of Martin Jewelry in downtown Lincoln. Originating in West Omaha, this jewelry store is pandemic safe.

“We’re different than your typical jewelry store that you’ll go into,” Kaylan said. “We special order almost everything. We’re mostly known because we are a virtual custom jeweler.”

One thing that sets Martin Jewelry apart from others is they meet virtually with clients anywhere. Sign up for a spot on their website to secure a conversation with Kaylan or Dylan to craft a custom-made piece.

“I think just the fact that we could do this virtually makes a difference,” Kaylan said. “We can be super flexible and just make almost whatever [a customer] wants, from wherever you’re at and that’s really cool.”

On their website, it shows the step-by-step process of how it works. They make a little wax mold of what is ordered and then they will special order the design that was requested. The Evans will then build the ring with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction.

“It’s a lot of attention to detail,” Dylan said.

Inside Shannon Formalwear, there is still a section by the front window where Martin Jewelry has its counter full of rings, necklaces, and other jewelry. This one-stop shop is becoming a popular spot on 16th street.

Their biggest sellers are engagement rings, but they offer a wide range of jewelry for any special occasion. Common popular items include chains for necklaces and pendants.

“We’ve had a lot of in chains and necklaces recently,” Dylan said.

Martin Jewelry caters to all jewelry needs, offering earth-made diamonds as well as lab-made diamonds. They also offer gemstones and semi-precious stones.

“We also sell watches, and we still do men’s bands too,” Kaylan said. “We also sell chains and pendants, but our main focus is engagement rings.”
