Open Harvest Co-Op Celebrates New Location in Telegraph District

Open Harvest is the latest business to join the Telegraph District.

BY TESSA WISER

Open Harvest is the second grocery store in Downtown Lincoln and the first in the Telegraph district, and it’s unlike any other grocery store in town.

Being a consumer food co-op means Open Harvest is owned and operated by the members, staff, and vendors that visit the local co-op.

You do not need a membership to enter; anyone can shop at any point.

The aisles are stocked with locally sourced food from over 68 vendors within a 200-mile radius of Lincoln. Some regional and national brands can be found in stores as well.

Open Harvest’s previous location had some challenges including limited parking and lack of liquor license due to location restrictions. After setting up shop on 16th and South Street for over 30 years, Open Harvest is now located at 330 S 21st St and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Open Harvest lives in the same building as the Mill Coffee and Tea and Allo Communications.

Opening day is February 7th at 11:00 a.m.
