While we can't gather in parties more than 10 we can still come together as a community. A heart-warming post from 1867 Bar owner Kelsey Sanders has inspired us to help a neighbor. These are difficult times for some bars, restaurants and what the government is calling 'non-essential businesses'. Employees of these businesses sometimes live day-to-day earning tips. Owners pour their heart and soul into businesses they love. Suddenly shutting down a small business can be dramatic for some of these owners and employees. Fortunately we are in a position to help. Alchemy purchased (4) $250 gift cards from 1867 bar and will be raffling them off at $5 a ticket. If we exceed what we spent we will donate the proceeds to the 1867 staff members to help out. We encourage other businesses who see a neighbor in trouble during these times to help where they can. As a community we can stay strong and support each other. Stop by Alchemy during business hours to purchase tickets. The drawing will be on April 18th at 5pm. That gives us a month to build as much as we can. We will only allow you to win once, so (4) separate winners will be announced. Stay safe, healthy and entertained. Final drawing will be on April 18th.
