Sat., Nov. 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., the Noyes Art Gallery, located at 119 S. 9th, will host a workshop on constructing masks. Participants will learn to cut and fold paper to build and decorate their own mask. Noyes artist Curtis Adams will demonstrate and lead the class.
Participants will learn to use templates to create a 3D mask. Then they will paint, draw designs, and decorate their mask.
All materials, supplies and tools will be provided. But if possible, bring clean recycled paper (cereal boxes, beverage boxes, frozen pizza boxes etc.)
Call the Noyes Art Gallery at 402-475-1061 to sign up and pay the $40 fee in advance. Payment can be made over the phone. Don’t wait as space is limited.
