Rebecca Morse is curator in the Walliss Annenberg Photography Department at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Her upcoming project, Objects of Desire: Photography and the Language of Advertising, examines the ways in which artists have mined the language of commercial photography for their own work.

The Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series brings notable artists, scholars and designers to the University of Nebraska; enhancing the education of our students and enriching the culture of the state by providing a way for the public to interact with luminaries in the fields of art, art history and design. All lectures in this series are free and open to the public.
