Join us for the signing ceremony at the Nebraska State Capital, as Governor Rickets signs the Home Birth Day proclamation! Specific directions and location are in a post below. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11, so please plan to arrive by 10:45.
Suggested Dress Code: Neat and Clean! Clothing for past events has been a mix from professional to casual. A good rule of thumb is clothing with no stains or unintentional holes, no shirts with written messages.
We’ll meet after the ceremony at Union Plaza Amphitheater (250 N 21st St, Lincoln 68503 ). Bring a picnic lunch, or grab something from Hub Cafe in the park (see menu at https://www.hubcafelincoln.com/ ). There’s lot of room for the kids to play, and shady areas to eat.
You're welcome to come to the ceremony, the picnic afterwards, or both - whatever your schedule and comfort level allows.
