Every last Saturday in April is Independent Bookstore Day and bookstores across the country will be celebrating!

Our hours are extended and we'll be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with plenty of prizes and surprises.

We'll have local authors at the shop to meet and autograph your books.  We'll be drawing throughout the day for fun prizes.  Take a peek at our schedule**

 

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. – Jeannine Bryant, author of Keep the Memories, Not the Stuff and Ready to Rightsize.

Changing Spaces SRS Owner Jeannine Bryant is an expert at helping seniors and their families through times of transition.  Since 2010, she has been actively involved in the transition of hundreds of clients in the Lincoln, Nebraska area.  She is proud to be leading a team that provides such caring assistance to clients going through the rightsizing process.

 

11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.  - Linda Stephen, author of The Day We Went To The Park.

The park by the lake is my favorite place to be.
So much to do. So much to see.

Discover the wonder of a trip to the park in this origami picture book from paper artist Linda Stephen who will also be demonstrating an origami project.  Drawing for a pair of earrings made from Linda's original origami cranes - these are amazing!!

 

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. – Nichole Hansen, author and publisher of a wonderful array of children's books including Zany Can Do Anything!

Bring the kids to meet Zany! 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

2:30 p.m. -3:30 p.m. – Dorothy Ramsey, author of Milly for Mayor

Milly for Mayor is a fictional tale about a small Midwestern farming community that has a mayoral election go hilariously awry. When the citizens realize what has happened, they step up to the challenge to make things work out. That, of course, leads to more problems.

 

3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Erin Lee, author of The Guardian, a Young Adult novel - A human with dragon magic. A dragon desperate for his magic to return. A promise of revenge that ties them together...
