The Nebraska History Museum invites you to a special free admission day celebration for Nebraska’s Statehood on Saturday, March 1st from 9 am to 4 pm! All ages are welcome!

Join us for family-friendly activities across the museum with wonderful community partners including the Lincoln Children’s Museum, LUX Center for the Arts, International Quilt Museum, Lincoln Parks and Recreation, and Nebraska State Square and Round Dance Association, who will be teaching at the hour every hour.

Visit each community guest station to earn a special stamp alongside your scavenger hunt sheet for a prize!

Activities will include:
•Exploring the museum to discover staff’s favorite artifacts and complete the •Nebraska state symbols scavenger hunt!
•Square dancing each hour!
•Creating a birthday card for Nebraska!
•A fossil puzzle made of handmade mammoth bones!
•A take-home activity with Nebraska symbol-related crafts and recipes!

The free admission for this event is funded in support from the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation. Don’t forget to stop by the thank you card table and write them a note!
