We had planned a huge celebration for Children's Book Week
that included a live show by The String Beans.
The pandemic disrupted those plans.

However, The String Beans have created a 30-minute TV show
full of Music, Cartoons, Games, Puppetry, Cats, Books, Jokes -
and more Music!

It's upbeat, hilarious, and great entertainment for all ages.
It's just what we need in our lives right now - a mood elevator!

Children's Book Week is officially May 4th-9th...however, we are kicking off OUR celebration with this show on May 9th and continuing our celebrations the following week.

Other FUN stuff we're doing:

Wednesday, May 13th: Book Bag Care Packages for Kids are available to order.

Thursday, May 14th: Where's Charlie? photo books available for pickup. The handmade look-and-find books sell for $20 each, with proceeds going to Community Action Head Start. We're taking orders now. Call (402) 475-8663 to place your order.

All Week, Wed-Sat, May 13th - 16th:
Each family who purchases Children's Books from our shop will receive a FREE copy of the Children's nature book, Native and Novel in Nebraska by Patt Harper.
