Morrill Hall is pleased to bring our monthly Science Café program to you in a virtual format! Join us on May 26th at 7pm for Waters Around the World.

What happens when a volcano erupts by a lake? How might a stream provide clues to the evolution of life? And what does it mean when a lake turns pea-soup green? Join Dr. Jessica Corman as she takes you on a tour of lakes and streams across the world and discusses their fascinating natural history.

Dr. Jessica Corman is an Assistant Professor in the UNL School of Natural Resources and Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute Faculty Fellow.

We will be broadcasting this program via Zoom and Facebook Live, so there are multiple ways to watch! To connect via Zoom, please register for this FREE program in the ticket link. A connection link will be provided to you via email prior to the program. To join on Facebook Live, visit the UNSM Facebook page on May 26th just after 7pm to watch.

Our Science Café partner, The Happy Raven, is currently open Tuesday evening for take-out sales, so stop by and grab a drink before the Science Café presentation.

This presentation would be best enjoyed by ages 15+.
