BID Expansion: Telegraph District

After two years of outreach, meetings and data collection, City Council voted 7-0 on August 14, 2023 to expand the Downtown Lincoln BID to include the Telegraph District, extending the BID's positive impact to wider range of businesses and stakeholders. Services began on September 1, 2023.

Downtown Lincoln is the city’s hub for government, education, entertainment, dining, nightlife, arts and culture, specialty retail and tourism. We believe that the expansion of the BID to the Telegraph district presents new opportunities for collaboration, networking and mutual growth. 

The Downtown Lincoln BID will provide Telegraph businesses and properties with services including maintenance, advocacy, economic development and business support. You can find a full report of DLA's services here. Funding for the BID comes from annual assessments to property owners within the boundaries of the district. Our BID has helped us establish a downtown that is the chosen destination of businesses, residents and visitors and one that is envied by many other cities.
