Downtown Lincoln is experiencing an exciting resurgence with the addition of several new and unique spots.

The downtown area has something for everyone, from dessert havens to your go-to vintage shops. These new establishments offer a variety of delicious treats, trendy fashion options, and great entertainment, making them must-visit destinations for locals and visitors alike. Here are eight new businesses that you have to visit. 


Juice Stop

You read that right—Juice Stop is back in Downtown Lincoln! Reopening its doors on September 2, the popular smoothie spot has returned to its original location at 12th and Q, right across the street from the UNL campus. 

Known for its refreshing smoothies, fresh juices, and commitment to healthy living, Juice Stop is once again serving up all your favorite blends for fueling up between classes or a post-workout boost. 


REM Studio

Designed with an entrepreneurial spirit in mind, REM Studios offers up to seven spacious salon suites. This new business is situated in the Telegraph District, a prime central location for professionals and clients. Each studio offers soft-close cabinets, quartz countertops, and a refined, professional vibe that combines creativity and comfort. 

Located on South Antelope Valley and K Street, this new business welcomes both new hairstylists and experienced hairdressers. Is it time for a trim? 


10:02 Coffee

Located at 1800 O Street inside the new Citylight Church, this coffee shop offers a warm, inviting space to enjoy quality coffee while connecting with the community. 

From lattes to mochas, 10:02 Coffee brings the classic coffee shop vibe with a light and airy atmosphere. 10:02 Coffee is open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 


Dream in Vintage

Located in the historic Creamery Building in the heart of Lincoln’s Haymarket district, Dream In Vintage is a vibrant new boutique bringing Y2K fashion back in style. With a curated selection of nostalgic pieces from the late '90s and early 2000s, the shop offers everything from iconic denim and baby tees to bold accessories that capture the spirit of the era. 

Whether you're looking to relive the trends of the past or discover them for the first time, Dream In Vintage is your go-to destination for standout vintage fashion. The store is open Thursday and Friday from 2–8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday from 12–5 p.m.


Salt: The Event Space

Salt is a modern event space located at 8th and R Street in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket, offering a stylish urban retreat for gatherings of all kinds. With comfortable seating for up to 85 guests, it’s the perfect venue for meetings, celebrations, and special events.

Salt is part of the same hospitality family as McKinney’s Irish Pub, Tipsy Tina Cantina, and Salt Mine Brewing, bringing the same local charm to your next event. 


Noiz Vintage

Noiz is a new vintage clothing shop in Lincoln’s Railyard, located at 600 Q St. 

Founded by Lincoln native Zion Duncan, the store opened on August 30 and is open Fridays and Saturdays. Perfect for vintage Husker gear, this shop is guaranteed to have your next game day fit. 


Residence Inn

Residence Inn by Marriott is now open at North 9th and R Street. 

This extended-stay hotel offers spacious suites with kitchens and modern amenities, making it an ideal choice for longer stays. Guests enjoy a comfortable, home-like atmosphere with convenient access to local attractions.


KT Designs - Union Bank Place Pop-up 

KT Designs, started by Kassie Thompson in 2013, creates unique laser-etched wood products and hand-painted décor. Beginning with chalkboards, Kassie expanded to door hangers, seasonal items, and Husker-themed goods. 

KT Designs recently joined the Union Bank Place Small Business Pop-up Shop in Downtown Lincoln, offering a variety of local, handcrafted products just in time for the holiday season.
