Lincoln Calling this Week!

This year the local music and arts festival has decided to pivot and make everything outdoors.

BY TESSA WISER

Lincoln Calling is September 23-25 and has three stages.

This year it will take place in Duffy’s Backlot, their Night Market, and Tower Square.

The block from 13th and O to 13th and P will be closed off for vendors and an outdoor stage dubbed as the Night Market. The performances at Tower Square will be free to the public.

Education and art panels will be around downtown, including Keichel Art Galley.

Due to the rise of COVID-19 in Lancaster county, Lincoln Calling decided to take the festival completely outdoors. Going from 70 to 40 artists and seven venues to three, Lincoln Calling will be requiring all attendees, vendors, staff, artists, and anyone ages 16 and older to have proof of vaccination (at least 14 days prior to event date) or a negative PCR test result within 72 hours to attend each day of the festival.

Lincoln Calling will be celebrating its 18th year with headliners Sluthrust, Indigenous, and Birthdayy Partyy.
