Tugboat Gallery Proudly Presents "Gentle Geometry" featuring Karen Kunc and Hannah Demma
"Gentle Geometry" featuring Karen Kunc and Hannah Demma opens First Friday, October 2nd from 7-10 with DJ ol' moanin'.
The obsessive cutting of handmade paper and complex layers of relief printmaking unfold into"Gentle Geometry".
This drawing and abstraction embrace the evidence of the human hand, rather than relying on rulers or rigid systems. Karen and Hannah's processes both draw on intuition, building on irregularities and allowing patterns to reveal themselves through the making process.
