The UNL Department of English Reading Series presents Alison Bechdel, author of Fun Home, The Secret to Superhuman Strength, and Dykes to Watch Out For. Sponsored by the Department of English, The LGBTQA+ Center, and the Lied Center for Performing Arts.
Alison Bechdel is an internationally beloved cartoonist whose darkly humorous graphic memoirs, astute writing and evocative drawing have forged an unlikely intimacy with a wide and disparate range of readers.
Free and open to the public. Limited seating available.
This event is part of “50 Years of LGBTQ Studies at UNL,” a program recognizing UNL’s historic role in the development and promotion of LGBTQ literature and scholarship.
