About the author:

S.D Neill was born in Fremont, NE and raised in Cedar Bluffs and Wahoo, NE. Her debut novel Bittersweet Timing is a fiction, mature romance tale full of the crazy emotions that make the parallels of life chaotic.

Her novel was selected to participate in TaleFlick Discovery—where books are chosen to potentially be adapted to a movie or television series.

Her passion for writing has lasted her entire life, stemming from elementary school. She keeps journals full of short stories and notebooks with ideas or certain words, sometimes titles of songs to listen to for inspiration.

She has a towering stack of books, far too many fuzzy socks and an abundance of lipsticks in basically the same shade. She frequently indulges in her passion for the cup of liquid gold—black coffee that is. Red wine and strawberry shortcake.

About the book:

Elizabeth Baker (Beth) is a small-town girl who works for the local paper. Left alone in this world when her mother passed away, she relies on her lifelong friend Jenna. Beth is a person that everyone likes and is known for her sweet, quiet disposition. If they only could read her dirty little mind, that surely would cause some major wood and wetness. Working as a journalist for the local Gazette gives her the advantage of knowing all the events and festivities ahead of time, always looking for that chance of running into Justin. It has been awhile since their last fling and she certainly could use his manly parts, he knows how to make her scream all the juicy words. Besides the desire that exudes from them being in the same vicinity, they have each other’s hearts. A moth to a flame, but the flame flickers and burns.
