Join us every Wednesday from 7-9 PM at our downtown taproom for Boiler Kissa. Fashioned after Japanese Jazz Kissas, Boiler Kissa is a time to bring recorded music on vinyl to the forefront of the social sphere. Selections will focus on well-pressed vinyl of artistically relevant music. Like traditional Japanese Jazz Kissas, selections will often times, but not always limited to jazz. Kissa is about experiencing recorded music and craft beer in a communal environment. If you have never experienced music via high-end vinyl playback, now is your opportunity to experience it, with a beer in your hand.

Though the hi-fi in use for Kissa will presumably not remain static, with component selection evolving over time, the current system includes:

Turntable: Rega Planar 2, glass platter, updated motor, Tangospinner Astor subplatter, belt, and bearing
Tonearm: Rega RB-250, Incognito tonearm cable, Pete Riggle counterweight
Cartridge: Nagoka MP-110
Phonostage: Schiit Mani
Preamp: Schiit Frey+
Amplifier: AMC 2100
Speakers: Magnepan LRS
Subwoofer: Paradigm PDR-10 v.3
Speaker Cables: Audio Art SC-5 bi-wire
Interconnects: Transparent Music Wave

All records are ultrasonically and vacuum cleaned prior to play, and stored in three-ply, anti-static sleeves.

See you Wednesday-
