Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos, regarded as some of the highest compositions of the baroque era, showcase LSO’s strings, oboes, and horns performing Concertos 1 & 3 with Maestro Polochick conducting from the harpsichord. After intermission, the program closes with LSO’s Principal Cello Karen Becker, who joins the orchestra for Kurt Atterberg’s gloriously romantic Cello Concerto.
