Details
Join us Sunday, March 1st at 2 PM for the Boiler Brewing Company Brewery and History Tour. The tour starts in the Boiler Brewing Company tap room then goes up through the Grand Manse building. Fascinating historical facts and stately architectural features are revealed of this building originally constructed to serve as a post office and federal courthouse in 1904. The tour then comes back to the brewery where you are greeted with a sample of one of Boiler’s beers. Brewmaster Tim Thomssen takes over the tour and discusses what it takes to make beer at Boiler Brewing Company. Learn how Tim made his way from award-winning home brewer to award-winning commercial brewer. You will learn about all the equipment it takes to make small-batch craft beer in Boiler’s brewery. Tim will then get down to details, including looking at yeast cells under a microscope! After all your questions have been answered, head to the tap room for the pint of your choice! Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
