Brian Huntress is a Massachusetts-based folk-punk songwriter who writes catchy songs about very dark realities and makes them feel lighthearted ... not making light of them per se, just kind of like how that Foster The People song about a school shooter is disguised as a radio-friendly pop song. But they're still catchy! On the side, Brian uses the internet to encourage people to make art for its legitimate mental health benefits. He's playing Duffy's with Not Ben Shin of Lincoln and Turtle Sanctuary of Omaha.
