It sounds daunting, but it's not! Learn to paint realistic to impressionistic portrait
painting using various tonal values with wet on moist painting techniques.
Saturday, July 9th, 2022, 10 AM-2 PM, $60.00 per student
MATERIALS - bring your own
ROUND BRUSHES: #10, #8, #6, #2 or #1. You can use the brushes you have.
WATERCOLOR PAPER: 140lb to 300lb cold press (individual sheets or pad)
PHOTOS: Bring several to choose from. B&W to full color. Office Max can provide
prints from your cell phone. Ask for one full color on gloss text, 8-1/2"x11", and one
B&W on lightweight bond paper. You will use the B&W to transfer photos to
watercolor paper.
ARTIST TAPE: 1" (or masking tape)
PENCIL: 6H
KNEADED ERASER
MOUNTING BOARD: Gator Board, thin plywood, or flat cooking tray.
