We’re excited to announce our upcoming exhibition, “Field Studies to Paintings: 50 Years of Keith Jacobshagen,” opening Friday, August 29th from 5–8 PM. Join us for an artist meet-and-greet that evening to celebrate over five decades of Jacobshagen’s work.
The exhibition features over 80 field studies and more than 20 paintings that trace the evolution of Jacobshagen’s practice, from his early roadside plein air studies to the expansive oil paintings that have come to define his career. Many of the field studies are annotated with handwritten notes on temperature, wind direction, and ambient sounds, providing a clear record of the conditions under which each work was made.
