Join Francie & Finch in celebrating the Downtown Lincoln First Friday Art Walk with artist Glenda Dietrich Moore! Glenda will be in the shop from 4:00 - 7:00 on November 3rd, presenting her new watercolors that will be on display for the month!

About the Artist:
Glenda Dietrich Moore is a versatile artist and illustrator who paints mainly in brightly-hued watercolors. Her Lincoln, Nebraska, art studio is called “Creation Energy—Intersections of Art and Spirit”. She teaches art classes and leads seminars and retreats incorporating the visual arts, creativity, and the spiritual life.

Glenda has had her work displayed in many regional galleries and art festivals, and her work has been used to illustrate books, magazines, and calendars. Glenda has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

“Painting in watercolor allows me to enjoy both the gifts and challenges of its transparent nature and its jewel-toned hues. Working in a variety of styles and with diverse subject matter pushes me to investigate the properties and qualities of color in numerous ways. It’s always a challenge to maintain a balance between carefully planning a painting’s composition and values and imbuing the painting with fresh, flowing, vibrant colors.
