Centered around the vein of old-school country with a touch of the swinging sixties, Kimmi Bitter and the Westside Twang are here to transport you on a retro journey into the year 1962 through their nostalgic songs. “The future of country music is classic. The future of classic country is Kimmi Bitter,” as Saving Country Music boldly states.
"Immediately riveting classic country fans and stimulating chill bumps from the eerie similarities to Patsy Cline, 'My Grass Is Blue' is solid country gold,” says Saving Country Music who nominated the song for 2022 Single of the Year alongside fellow nominees Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell, and Zach Bryan (read article). Bitter also found recognition in her hometown winning Best Country/Americana Artist and “My Grass is Blue” was nominated for Song of the Year by the San Diego Music Awards 2023. She also garnered recognition at Nashville’s 2023 Americanafest being coined one of the “biggest musical takeaways”. Her song “Aquamarine” was nominated for 2024 Song of the Year at the San Diego Music Awards, making it the third nomination of a song featured on her break out album “Old School”.
