After opening with Franz Schubert’s romantic Unfinished Symphony, LSO performs Sarah Gibson’s warp & weft, a work for orchestra inspired by traditional women’s art techniques, specifically weaving. Following intermission, internationally acclaimed pianist Michael McHale joins LSO to perform Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s stunning Piano Concerto No. 1.
