Bring your creativity to Noyes Art Gallery on 119 S. Ninth St., Saturday, November 12, 10:00am to 1:00pm. Join Noyes artist, Delynn Ellis, for a 3-D workshop in stained glass. You will leave the class with a stained glass house that lights-up like a lamp.
All materials will be provided for a $70 class fee. This includes colorful glass, decorative embellishments, adhesives, wooden base, tools used in class. Electric light is $5 extra. The wooden base the house sits on is approximately 9" x 12", holiday house sizes will vary. While the theme is Christmas, you can choose to make your house out of non-traditional colors as well.
Ellis describes this class as "fun, festive, and collaborative." She will teach you how to cut glass and the fundamentals of creating mosaics. Attendees are recommended to wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy and a work apron. No previous experience with glass art is required.
