Parker McCollum: Never Enough - A Country Star Here to Stay
Never Enough, Parker McCollum's highly anticipated second major-label release, solidifies his place in the country music mainstream. Following the success of Gold Chain Cowboy, this new album (released under MCA Nashville) showcases McCollum’s raw authenticity, vulnerability, and defiance, hallmarks of his distinct sound.
Produced by Jon Randall (Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley), Never Enough merges Parker’s Texas roots with rock and country influences, delivering a mix of honest lyrics and electric guitar riffs. Songs like the rock-infused "Hurricane" and the emotional ballad "Have Your Heart Again" highlight his musical versatility and commitment to remaining true to himself.
“I don’t write with radio in mind,” Parker says. “I just write songs that will stand the test of time.”
Country Hits and Chart Success Parker's music, inspired by legends like George Strait, Willie Nelson, and Chris Knight, blends classic country with modern sensibilities. His hit singles, including “Pretty Heart” and “To Be Loved By You”, both reached No. 1 on the country charts. His latest single, “Burn It Down,” is poised to be another career-defining hit, drawing attention for its deeply personal lyrics and moody, intense vibe.
Collaborations and Songwriting Parker has teamed up with some of country music’s finest songwriters, including Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, and David Lee Murphy, while continuing to work with his Texas peers. This collaborative approach has helped evolve his songwriting style, and you can hear the growth in every track on Never Enough.
Heartfelt Performances One of the most personal tracks on the album, “Things I Never Told You,” reflects Parker’s relationship with his mother. Although he didn’t write the song, its emotional resonance made it an immediate favorite.
Currently on tour with Morgan Wallen, Parker continues to prove why he's one of country music’s most authentic voices.
