More information:
Presentations must be pointless, passionate, and possibly unhinged. The more obscure, oddly specific, or surprisingly persuasive the better.
Topic Rules:
- No politics, hate speech, or real-world drama.
- Conspiracy theories are allowed, as long as they are funny, weird, or wildly speculative. For example, “Why birds work for the bourgeoisie” is in; “Flat Earth and I mean it” is out.
- Pop culture deep dives, food hot takes, and oddly academic nonsense are highly encouraged.
Time Limit:
Each presentation is 15 minutes max, with at least 2 minutes left for audience Q&A. Going over time may result in being booed (lovingly) or forcibly muted, depending on the vibe.
Format:
- Use slides, posters, props, interpretive dance—whatever your heart desires.
- You must commit to your topic like it matters deeply.
Delivery:
- Passion is required. Facts are optional.
- Bonus points for audience interaction, fake citations, or elaborate charts with zero scientific backing.
