Tugboat Gallery proudly presents "What Lies Beneath" featuring Russ Oberg and Scott McDonald opening First Friday August 5th from 7-10 with DJ Ol Moanin - closing on August 27th.
Russ Oberg owns Red Quill Tattoo and Scott McDonald explores death and human existence through his ability to depict bodies, hands, and skulls. His goal is to present viewers with a sense of beauty and symmetry within themes that so often feel unsettling or uncomfortable. As a self-taught watercolor artist, Scott uses a similar style to acrylics in order to create texture and strong tones.
