On Saturday, September 19th, from 9 am to 4 pm, join us at the Nebraska History Museum to discover historic games played by the first Nebraskans, learn new games brought here by immigrants and refugees, and create your own! Joined by local community partners including El Centro de las Américas and Big Gumdrop Outdoors, there is something for everyone!
Family-friendly activities include:

• Scavenger Hunt: Games and Sports
• Animal Track Matching Game
• Trivia Plinko
• Make Your Own Puzzle
Regular admission rates apply. Admission is free with an NSHS membership.
About Welcoming Week
Welcoming Week is a worldwide annual campaign that celebrates the work in communities of all sizes to become welcoming places for all, including immigrants. Lincoln’s Welcoming Week 2026 will be September 10th through 19th to share food, music, stories, and traditions, recognizing the value that cultural diversity offers to all who call Lincoln home.
