Norway Maple

This maple is identifiable by its broad leaves with relatively shallow sinuses and ridged bark, reminiscent of an ash tree. These trees do best in sheltered locations, struggling in hot, dry, windy conditions. Norway maple has multiple cultivars with unique foliage such as ‘Crimson King’ which has red foliage throughout the growing season.
