Address

Details
1908, Fiske & Dieman, architects
Several implement manufacturers operated in the Haymarket vicinity. Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company employed the Lincoln (and Cedar Rapids, Iowa) architectural firm of Ferdinand Fiske and Charles Dieman to design this brick factory and warehouse. For many years it was home to Hoppe Lumber Company, and later Central Plains Millwork. Old painted wall signs recall the various occupants, along with the reuse of heavy timbers from the building in its redevelopment of 2006-77. BVH Architects designed the renovation for WRK developers, and both the developers and their architects have offices in the complex. The Clark Enersen Partners designed the attractive dock.
