Executive Director

Downtown Lincoln Association (DLA) Board is seeking applicants for the Executive Director position. The Board represents six downtown Business Improvement Districts (BID) with a focus for keeping our downtown safe, clean and thriving. The Downtown BID includes 74 blocks of downtown Lincoln, with maintenance responsibilities for 220 block faces within the District. 

The Position requires an energetic, creative and self-motivated professional with strong communications and consensus-building skills, expertise in downtown and BID management and development, as well as experience in planning, business recruitment and retention, and event production. 

In addition, the Executive Director manages the organization, supervises staff, implements annual program of work, facilitates public private redevelopment projects, serves as the primary liaison to property owners, City of Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, state government and subsidiary DLA organizations.
